WEEKEND GUPDATE – Changing Your Seat

It’s one of my better posts, if I do say so.

GUPPY EFFECT is still jamming with various drummers and preparing new songs for Spring Shows.

Meanwhile, Cactus Joe (Hey, that’s me!) is playing bass with a couple other bands around town (that being Madison, WI).

This Saturday January 16, he will be rocking it with jam rockers PEOPLE BROTHERS BAND at Wiggie’s Bar in Madison. 8 to 11 PM or so. It’s FREE and the dance floor is HUGE.

I just finished reading Hugh McLeod’s “Ignore Everybody – And 39 Other Keys to Creativity.” I give it a B grade. Some of the “keys” are useful. Most are common sense and some I disagree with outright (like the one that says, “Don’t worry about finding inspiration. It comes eventually.”)

Stay warm. The days are already getting longer and it won’t be long before the krokuses pop up their flowery little heads. And I totally spelled krokus wrong, but I have no idea how it’s spelled. Anyone?
