WEEKEND GUPDATE – Don’t be a stranger!

Hi Guppies!

The GUPPY EFFECT 2009 Rocking Season is officially over.

We hope you landed some big game this year, and we will see you in March 2010 (REAL McCOYs in Delavan WI on Saturday March 13).

We had a blast. If you missed the crazy pics from the HALLOWEEN PARTY, you can CHECK THEM OUT HERE.

Don’t be a stranger this Winter (ugh…), just because there’s no shows by your favorite rock-n-roll band.

Cactus Joe (Hey, that’s me!) is still hosting HAPPY HOUR OPEN MIC every Wednesday night in November from 7 to 9 PM at the Brink Lounge in Madison WI. He also has a few SOLO SHOWS yet this year. And of course he’s going to be rocking the bass guitar with a few other AWESOME bands this winter, namely…

CAPTAIN’S REMORSE (hard rock/hair metal)
BLUE MAGIC BAND (blues/indie rock)
BABY ROCKET (cover band)
WAH WAH SOCIETY (soul funk)

I think that covers just about all the musical genres, except POLKA, and I’m working on that!

So don’t be a stranger. Stop in at any show by one of these bands and score GUPPY EFFECT T-SHIRTS and THONGS at off-season prices. Cactus Joe will honor the “FREE BEER FOR SHOWING YOUR THONG” rule at any show he’s rocking at. GUARANTEED (Gina, this even includes you!).

Stay warm!!! (I know I will…)

(I was “The Devil with a Blue Dress On”…I know, I know..it’s teal. I’m color blind!)
